Feast of the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady.
For many years we have been celebrating on October 14 the feast of the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady and Ever-Virgin Mary, which is one of the biggest feasts in the autumn for all Orthodox.
The history of the favourite people’s holiday of intercession of the Holy Virgin, or the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, represents the certain manifestation of patronage of the Mother of God, protection of goodness and justice from everything harm and evil.
This holiday, as before, has been respected by the revived Ukrainian Kozatstvo which has always and everywhere been protected by the Mother of God.
So, we wish everybody peaceful skies, good health, undying energy, enthusiasm and power! May the Divine Holy Virgin, outspread above, protect us from harm, evil and hardship!
