Today we honor those ones who sacrificed themselves, saved our land from fascist enslavement, and gave us peace and freedom. In our hearts we will always cherish the memory of millions of victims of our compatriots. I am sure the Ukrainian people will never forget the sacrifice and martial prowess of their liberators and will always be proud of their unfadable act of courage.
We are very grateful to you, our dear veterans, that you showed courage and liberated our native land at the cost of your own lives. Your valour, wisdom, experience, and attitude to your Homeland is a high example to follow. Honor and glory to you! We wish everyone sound health, peaceful sky and prosperity!
