Emergency and survival training
An important part of civil aviation safety is training of all crew members in actions in emergency situations.
FTC offers initial and recurrent training for personnel in accordance with Programmes of Initial and Recurrent training for flight crews and other aviation personnel actions in dangerous and emergency situations, firefighting training, administering first aid and aircraft emergency evacuation.
Mastering knowledge and skills required by the Programmes is done in the environments which are identical to reality as the trainees not only study corresponding manuals and watch training films but also get familiar with real items of emergency and survival equipment and practice actions in emergencies using the training device based on real SAAB 340 fuselage.
Besides, skills to use floatation devices are practiced in a special pool and those of real fire extinguishing – with the use of real fire extinguishers.
